We made it to the island of Oahu for the summer and we’re excited to call Hawaii our home! We’ve been here for a little over a week and love our life in the tropics. The video below recaps our trip so far - Week 1.
Our friend Chrissy picked us up from the airport and we stayed at her place for the first few nights in Kapolei. We picked up right where we left off with her when we visited Oahu in October of last year - and of course she took us to eat all of the poke, drink all of the local brews and catch some rays on all of the island’s most beautiful beaches.
We rented a car and moved the luggage to our place at Kate and Brett’s and had the pleasure of meeting Maggie the Pup. We also picked up the new DJI Osmo Action camera that works similar to a GoPro. You’ll see some of that footage in the recap videos including Week 1!
The rest of the week consisted of tons of poke, lots of walking (we live in Honolulu and can walk down our mountain to a main road), musubi, beach after beach, Surfers Coffee in Wahiawa, and groceries at Foodland. Now we're getting into the groove of editing our workflow and exploring each day. The summer looks promising for sun rays and good vibes with the islanders.
